Arriving at Metro Hotel Couva felt like stepping into a warm embrace. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holiday spirit and my room was impeccably clean with comfortable beds. The friendly staff consistently checked on us, making our stay truly enjoyable. Access to nearby shops was a plus, allowing us to explore the surroundings easily.

However, the swimming pool was a letdown. it wasn't as accessible as I would have preferred and the water was quite chilly even during sunny days. Breakfast could benefit from more variety—after a few days, the limited options became repetitive. I also wished there were 'Do Not Disturb' signs to avoid frequent housekeeping knocks during my late mornings.

The location was perfect for my needs in Couva.

The room was spacious, but it felt outdated with rusty shower heads and dingy towels that really bothered me. The pool area was too cold for comfort, and the chlorine affected my eyes, which was disappointing. Additionally, the breakfast choices were limited, and I encountered issues with unavailable items, which left a sour taste at the start of my day.

The stay was primarily for attending the T20 cricket world cup semi-finals nearby, which was a blast. The room was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax after a long day. The front desk team was amazing—always polite and ready to help out with anything we needed. However, the first room we were given had some unwanted guests, but we were quickly moved to a room without issues. It would’ve been nice to have a coffee maker in the room since there was just a kettle. Overall, a decent place for the price.

I stayed in the Deluxe Suite for 30 nights. The room was really spacious and had great AC, which was a lifesaver. Ms. Ria was awesome—super helpful and always cracking jokes, really made the experience better. However, the bed could’ve been more comfortable. I didn’t sleep as well as I hoped.
